You're wasting your time. I update my virus definitions daily, so you're not going to sneak anything past me.

Just give it up. Rolling Eyes

Soupy, I get them too. Th has also confirmed he gets them too.
There must be some kind of script "somewhere" that scans sites for email addresses (ours are publicly available here) and starts sending virus-infected spam mail...

If your email addy is in someones address book you're bound to get infected emails, some viruses set up their own SMTP server on the victims machine, collect the email addresses and start to send like mad.

The latest Klez variants are doing things like this, there are more. Klez is spreading rapidly:

and some figures plus removal tools:

No, this one is personal, I think. He's sending me email from "wb@wimsbios.com" and "support@unicore.com", etc etc. He's also relaying through a promiscuous server.

It's possible the script takes all the addresses from one site and uses them to email the other addresses, but why waste the time, either way?

I think, it's the Klez-virus, still.
I get mail infected viruses where the sender _should_ be ajz, m$, borland etc.

So, just anything with an attachment goes down the drain.
Pretty easy with Webmail accounts.
No problem for me with POP/SMTP also, because I using my RiscPC here :-)

Bye
Thomas
