Ty, Edwin

I have the TSR.exe utility , but i can't use it, because Windows ME ignore this tsr loaded in the autoexec.bat....

Do you know a very economic tool to update an eprom ?
.. I have a multimouse , e simple smartmouse programmer used to program pic16f84, pic16f876, AVR processor etc., eeprom 24c16 (using a loader)+ smartmouse a 3.5MHz + gold card in iso slot, sec*a smartc*ard and ir*deto sma*rtcard.

Using an old gold smart car*d with a pic 16f84, can i make a modification in order to connect a 2763 eprom to this pic processor and use a loader to flash this eprom?

Regards

ME should have the option to execute this file via registry setting or with a specialized config.sys or autoexec.bat
Use MSCONFIG to modify the autoexec.bat settings

if its a built in chip on your mobo you can place the bin file in your bios.
Perhaps try to place it in the bios anyway to see if it will override the older bios onboard the pci/agp card?
anyone know if that would work???

It works if there is enough space in the system BIOS. You may have to remove the EPROM chip from the VGA card, though. I've tried this with S3 Trio64V+ and it worked.

Accomp if you'd like to send me your bios to my email address and the tsr utility I will "implant" the binary the tsr loads into your bios if it will fit.
then you'll need to remove the sis bios from the card.
I would however recommend you make an automatic emergency flash disk to automatically reflash the non modified version should it fail.
I will know if it'll fit or not.
